Despite the constant worry for friends and family all over the world, this year was also the kindest that we've treated ourselves and others.<\/h2> <\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

No matter where we are over the past few months, these are how most conversations went around as we gradually adapted to every little yet significant change in our daily lives. Suddenly, putting on a face mask before leaving the house is no longer an annoyance, and being aware of each other\u2019s distances when out in public has almost became second nature.<\/p>

Looking back, it goes without saying that the past year was not without its challenges \u2013 especially in the early months when we try to accommodate to the new normal. From implementing new work arrangements to adhering to social distancing measures to as business operations resumed, our team has put in incredible effort to ensure that we can still offer our services to our customers while taking every measure to protect our people\u2019s welfare.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

During the weeks when we couldn\u2019t meet up as freely as before, communication is key. With our people\u2019s safety in mind, we started work-from-home arrangements from an early stage, and while carrying out individual duties on the virtual edge, we check-in with each other as often as possible and contributed to creating a smooth and efficient communication channel across all platforms.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

It was a little weird at first to work alone when WFH arrangement started, but gradually, we adapted through joint efforts of everyone.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

As part of our efforts to stay engaged with our community, we have also launched The KompacTalks \u2013 our first live broadcast series on Instagram where we invite fellow peers from the renovation industry as guests to share with the general public on ways to achieve practical yet aesthetic living spaces that are designed to fit individual lifestyle needs.<\/p>
