In line with our 15th brand anniversary that celebrates continued growth and design excellence since 2009, we’re filled with profound gratitude for how far we’ve come as a provider of compact surfacing solutions that primarily supplies 6MM KompacPanels as an alternative surfacing material for modern interior use.

Thinking back to our early days when KompacPanels were mainly applied as kitchen countertops, we’re incredibly proud of the large variety of applications that our 36-colour Kollection has to offer today in the creation of the perfect living space that can serve durable use with beautifully surface aesthetics to match.

Planning a renovation soon? Perfect timing! Read on to find out the many ways that KompacPanels can be customised to match a variety of lifestyles for added function and aesthetic appeal.

But first, let’s recap: What are KompacPanels?

Available in 36 textured colours, KompacPanel is an innovative material with a solid black core that measures only 6mm in thickness. Manufactured in Italy, each panel is made of multiple layers of Kraft paper soaked in resin that are compressed under high heat and pressure to achieve it’s signature compact design with a non-porous structure.

Standing out with it signature thickness of only 6mm, each KompacPanel is built with a solid core, matched with textured surfaces on both sides of the panel.

Certified to be anti-microbial, non-toxic and made of low flammable properties, the material is tested and proven to be highly resistant to heat, water and stains. On the surface, it is also tough against scratches and impact, allowing it to serve as a strong worktop that can endure heavy duty use with little need for maintenance in the long run.

In the event that the surface comes into contact with dirt or spills, the material has the natural ability to keep residues on the outermost layer while at the same prevent bacterial growth.
