Blink and the year is almost over – has it been kind to you in ways that mattered?
In the ever-evolving industry of surfacing materials and modern living solutions, 2025 marks yet another fruitful year for us in the pursuit of the new and innovative.
A whirlwind of days spent deep in R&D, ideas shared between passionate artists and inventors who thrives in pushing the boundaries of design and new material application ultimately took form as a series of new products and creative collaborations – filling us with great pride as we logged new milestones on our brand journey with you.

Which of these highlights do you remember?
KompacPlus at ARCHIDEX 2025
Without a doubt, ranking first on our list of moments-to-remember is none other than our participation in ARCHIDEX –Asia’s biggest architectural event held annually at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Through our creative showcase: Hidden Connections, exclusive previews of upcoming products and KompacPlus applications were featured in a modern kitchen setup, designed with various built-in solutions that offer live demonstrations of new interior possibilities that can be achieved with our signature 6MM KompacPanels.
Between excited ‘hellos’ and ‘long time no see’s, the highlight of our showcase was none other than the soft launch of KompacFlow as the lighted wall feature – essentially a seamless power integration system designed to offer modern living spaces the convenience of powering up everyday kitchen appliances and devices directly through KompacPlus surfaces.
In place of bulky sockets, a sleek groove is all that’s visible on the surface for users to easily plug KompacFlow-exclusive power adapters into place.
Adding to the excitement of our annual showcase this year was none other than our special collaboration with Hafele Malaysia that celebrated the launch of the CONERO wardrobe fittings with a live open wardrobe display featuring drawer covers made of 6MM KompacPlus surfaces.
Building on the CONERO wardrobe’s flexibility for customisation, users can choose from our 36-colour Kollection to complement the wardrobe’s powder black frame with textured surfaces to keep stored items hidden from view.
As an optional feature, KompacPlay add-ons such as Engraving, MixMatch and Latex Printing can also be applied to turn CORNERO wardrobe surfaces into focal points for added aesthetic appeal.
On display at Archidex 2025, the live open wardrobe features alternative drawer covers by KompacPlus to complement the practical design of CONERO wardrobe fittings with textured surfaces that are easy to maintain for long-lasting use.
The Joys of Gifting
Inspired by the seasonal holidays, the KompacPlus Huat You Pack and Congkak set are limited edition collectibles designed to bring joy and endless fun in the company of friends and family.
What’s progress without a little bit of fun along the way?
Building on the flexibility of our 6MM KompacPanels for customisation, these one-of-a-kind crafts were designed as an interactive showcase of how our signature 6MM Kollection can serve as a multi-coloured range of innovative material.
Where the congkak board is made of a plywood casing sandwiched between 6MM KompacPanels, built-in magnets allow users to seamlessly join the multi-tier boxes together to complete setup for the actual gameplay.
On textured surfaces, our Raya Congkak set sports detailed engravings for added aesthetic appeal. Also applicable on KompacPlus kitchen backsplashes and feature walls, learn more about this customisable application here.
Taking cue from recent blind-box trends, each Huat You Pack features randomised magnet pins made of 6MM KompacPanels, a scratch & win card, a set of red packets and a deck of playing cards illustrated with our very own Cat of Fortune.
Wrapped in the KompacPlus signature orange shade, this joyful bundle was available as a limited time giveaway held in January 2025.

Artful Impact: A Special Collaboration with JOURNEY
Following our creative collaborations with Desinere, Next of Kin, 11H and Ripple Root that featured our innovative material as a reliable medium for artistic expressions over the years, we had the utmost pleasure of co-launching our first collection of custom crafts with JOURNEY – an award-winning Singapore brand under TOUCH Community Services that represents the creative talents of people with intellectual disabilities.
Through this collaboration that features the combined efforts of 75 Special Artists in the design and creation of limited edition KompacPlus coasters and abstract paintings, the collection seeks to spark joy, hope and persistence as touchpoints that spark conversations, foster empathy, and reinforce the importance of giving back.
More than just a creative showcase of how materials can shape everyday spaces and experiences, we are grateful for this partnership with JOURNEY that gives visibility and value to personal narratives while reflecting on our shared commitment to support the local creative ecosystem.
